Some say when someone is no longer able to withstand pain he experienced the other personalities emerge who will take over control. In the case of babydoll (Emily Browning), other personalities would also save him from brain surgery he had to live due to act of his stepfather.
Babydoll actually still sane, but because the torture of his stepfather, this beautiful girl choose to live in another world he created. The condition is getting worse when the girl's stepfather babydoll bring this to a psychiatric hospital and plans to perform lobotomy (brain surgery) because it considers babydoll was no longer sane.
Babydoll only got five days before his skull split scalpel. At this critical moment babydoll bring his fellow inhabitants of the asylum to enter the natural creations. In nature babydoll and his friends must face the exciting adventure beyond which they never imagined. At the boundary between reality and dreams become increasingly thin, babydoll must survive or he will lose in the second nature.
